Little Willow - simply natural baby was opened in June of 2007 in Red Bank, NJ by parents Kristin and Paul Rainey, and their son Simon, who was 1 year old at the time. During pregnancy and after the birth of their first child, Kristin and Paul did copious amounts of research on natural baby products and the philosophy of attachment parenting, promoted by Dr. William Sears.

Kristin's cousin Dorothy introduced her to the art of babywearing by sharing her stash of over 20 carriers with her. She also demonstrated how cloth diapers work, prompting Kristin to learn the importance of seeing and feeling these products in real life rather than just ordering over the internet.

We are thrilled to be able to share these wonderful items with new and expecting parents. We have used most of the products in the shop and only carry products that we can stand behind.
